As a young woman, I struggled with knowing God’s will for my life. I feared stepping outside His best as I asked questions like, What degree should I pursue? and Which men was I wise to date–or not? Now a seasoned believer, I realize following God’s will extends beyond a few simple questions. As I continue to listen for His voice, books like Follow God’s Will: Biblical Guidelines for Everyday Life by Brittany Ann, affirm my desire to “discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect” (Romans 12:2).

Yes, believing He will guide is the thing that comforts me the most. I used to worry so much about missing God’s will; but if I’m depending on Him to lead me, I’ll get where I need to be. (But it will be in His timing – not mine!)
Jerralea, these are such wise words. Your words remind me of the verse, “My sheep know my voice.” If we’re attuned to Him, then we can trust we are heading the right direction. Waiting is the difficult part!
Blessings,
Tammy
This sounds like a wonderful resource, Tammy, especially for young adults as they look ahead toward the various life-chapters yet to unfold. It’s valuable for them to know that God speaks in a variety of ways, and to develop listening ears through Bible meditation, journaling, the wisdom of godly people around them, and God’s still small voice within. Thank you for bringing this book and workbook to our attention.
