He says, “Be still, and know that I am God…” Psalm 46:10
Scchloop…Did you just hear it? That was the sound of my last bit of energy being sucked away. Do you ever feel the same way? Are you running in circles just trying to keep up with life’s business when you realize you’ve lost sight of the most important things?
The verse that God keeps whispering in my ear today is, “Be still, and know that I am God.” My answer, “Lord, how can I be still? There is so much to do!”
But, life’s obligations will always encroach on quiet moments…peaceful moments…moments of reflection…moments of being in God’s presence. So, dear friend, wherever you are today—take a breath. Inhale the freshness of God’s spirit. Consider the One who created you for His glory.
Be still. Just be. Only for a moment.

“Just be…inhale the freshness of God’s spirit” Take a moment in all the busy activities and rushing around in your day to be still, to just be. Thank you Tammy for reminding us to take a moment to be in God’s presence.
It’s hard to be still. Thank you.
Isn’t it, though? This is really a reminder to myself! 🙂
Those quiet, still moments really are vital to maintaining our peace in the storm!
A timely post for me as well ~ Marsha
I’m glad it was a timely post for you.
