In the quiet

I’m reminded

Your power reigns supreme

No matter daily outcomes

Or the news upon the screen.

 

Although thoughts assail

And doubt and worry

Crowd around,

You stand at the door calling,

“Let my peace in you abound.”

Guide me by your word today–

In your truth I am secure.
